Billy and his Banjo. Billy has been playing the banjo since his early days in a folk group called the Humblebums.

I can recall seeing him at the Albert Hall (in Stirling) in the 60's and his opening line was.

"Ah allo... We are the Humblebums - I'm Humble"

It was not long before he realised that his talent for humour and observation was inevitably destined to take over from his musical skills.
